While the volume of water that travels over these falls is staggering, size and numbers alone don’t even begin to communicate the sheer power and intensity of this spectacle. Thanks to a number of carefully built walkways, you can venture into the middle of this massive cascade, marveling as the water explodes all around you.

Day 1 - Buenos Aires Feb 28
After disembarking your cruise ship, enjoy a day excursion to the Pampas. Experience the atmosphere of Argentine country life as you visit an estancia (ranch). Get acquainted with the lifestyle of the gauchos and enjoy a barbecue lunch and the warm hospitality of your hosts before returning to the city. Enjoy an evening at leisure. (L)
Day 2 - Buenos Aires - Iguazú Falls Mar 1
We fly to Iguazú Falls today. This afternoon you can begin to explore this natural wonder. The spectacle of this 2-mile-wide torrential downpour—with some cataracts as high as 250 feet—is nothing short of hypnotic. The clouds of spray, the incessant roar, and the surrounding luxuriant tropical growth make this an unforgettable natural wonder. Enjoy DINNER with the group. (B,D)
Day 3 - Iguazú Forest Mar 2
This morning, take the ECOLOGICAL JUNGLE TRAIN and tour the Argentine side of the IGUAZÚ FALLS. The afternoon will be free for you to explore and photograph the magnificent surroundings. Enjoy DINNER with the group. (B,D)
Day 4 - Iguazú Falls Mar 3
Today is dedicated to enjoying the magnificent panorama of the IGUAZÚ FALLS from the Brazilian side. Also, visit the BIRD PARK on the Brazilian side of the Falls. The afternoon will be free for you to explore and photograph the magnificent surroundings. Enjoy DINNER with the group. (B,D)
Note: US citizens must have a Brazilian visa to enter Brazil and enjoy both of these excursions.
Day 5 - Iguazú - Buenos Aires Mar 4
Today a transfer is provided for your return flight to Buenos Aires where you will connect to your flight home. A transfer between the domestic and international airports in Buenos Aires is also included. (B)
Included in the Iguazú Extension:
Motorcoaches are fully air-conditioned everywhere while touring. No use of the motorcoach other than as specified in the itinerary. One group airport transfer on arrival and departure. Intra-tour flights from Buenos Aires to Iguazú and back are included.
