The required cruise deposit is $450.00 USD per person and is refundable up to 90 days prior to the cruise date.

Please note: An entrance fee is being charged at the airport by the Argentine Government of $131 USD to enter the country by US citizens and a departure tax of $29 USD for each passport holder.


Post Cruise Iguazú Extension: Price $1,500 per person.

The required trip extension deposit is $100.00 USD per person and is not refundable.

Domestic flight from Buenos Aires to Iguazú and return the baggage limit is:
Carry on - 5 kilos or 12 pounds;   Checked - 15 kilos or 35 pounds.
Our hotel in Buenos Aires will store our cold weather luggage during the extension trip to Iguazú.

What to pack:

When packing, remember that the weather in this part of the world can change dramatically in a very short time - from sunny and pleasant to breezy, cool and misty.   Ensure you’re prepared for any change in conditions.

The following is a list of items suggested to pack for maximum enjoyment of the cruise.   This is certainly not all inclusive, but a list of items we have found to be most necessary.

Clothing to consider packing for shore excursions and inclement weather:
  • North Face Goretex jacket with zip in fleece
  • Warm Jacket such as a ski parka
  • Wind proof clothing such as jogging suit
  • Hat for sun protection, hat for cold protection
  • Comfortable waterproof walking shoes or boots
  • Gloves for cold weather
  • 2-3 Long pants (safari, jeans, cargo)
  • 2 long sleeved shirts
  • 3 sturdy shorts
  • 4-5 T shirts or short sleeved shirts
  • 1 Sandals
  • Important: Bring all personal and prescription medications in quantity to last the entire trip.
  • Information about Packing and Attire on while onboard the Celebrity Infinity.
Photo Gear
  • Digital SLR Camera or digital camera with manual controls and owner’s manual
  • Wide Angle Lens or Wide Angle Zoom
  • Mid Range Lens or Mid Range Zoom
  • Telephoto Zoom
  • Optional: Micro lens for close ups
  • Memory cards. I recommend at least enough for 200 pictures per day, preferably double that
  • Photo storage device such as an Epson photo viewer or Acer Netbook computer
  • Extra batteries. Bring enough to take at least 200 pictures per day plus accommodate viewing time
  • Plug adaptors for Iguazú Falls extension
  • Op-Tech Rain Shield or Kata Elements Shield
  • Shield to protect camera and lens during inclement weather and at Iguazú Falls
  • Camera cable release or remote control trigger.
  • Small towel to dry off equipment
  • Filters including polarizer, full and gradual ND (recommend 3 stop)
  • Sensor cleaning supplies (recommend Eclipse brand)
  • Lens cleaning supplies
  • Tripod (recommend Manfrotto aluminum or carbon fiber)
  • Camera Bag (recommend one with waterproof cover such as Lowe Pro, Tamrac or Kata)
  • Optional GPS unit for geotagging (recommend camera compatible GPS)
  • Optional Photo Vest: makes life easier
  • We supply class handouts. You may want to bring note taking materials
  • Memory card reader to facilitate transfer of images to computer or CD/DVD (Ship has computers available to accomplish this. Bring your own media)

Required Forms:

A Brazilian visa must be obtained by you.   It must be issued NO EARLIER than the 2nd of September 2009 for use on the 1st of March 2010.  Once used, it is good for the life of your passport.   We recommend that you use an expediting service to acquire your visa.
